When John takes a break from his long-term boyfriend, he accidentally falls for the girl of his dreams.

Culminating in an agonisingly uncomfortable dinner party, Cock unflinchingly explores the problems that arise when someone has to choose between two lives. Set in a cock-fighting ring, this play explores the way that we categorise human sexuality in a touching and deftly comic way.

Supported by Saints LGBT+,  this immersive production was set in a cock-fighting ring and staged in the round. The lack of props or miming placed all focus and tension within the words of the play itself, and allowed the audience to listen and connect with the emotions of the characters.

Discussions and talkbacks were held after both performances. These were lead in a panel fashion by the director and production team along with several members of the Saints LGBT+ committee. Discussions focused on the fluidity of sexuality and the performance of such in life and the world of the play.
